Welcome to Wilma's
Place!
I hope you enjoy my pages, and that when you leave here, you will know a little bit more about me, my family, and other special people in my life!
Because I have included so many photos, a lot of my pages take awhile to load......please be patient, and take the time to share them with me!
Hi.......I am Wilma, and I am a 51 year old (soon to be 52 on the 5th of May) Grandmother to our 4 wonderful grandchildren. I have been married to my childhood sweetheart, Terry for 34 years, and we have 2 grown children: Our son,Thadrick Dean (Thad) who is 33 years old, and our daughter, Kristen Lydean (Kris) who is 31 years old.

We all live in the same city in the southeastern part of the beautiful state of Montana....THE BIG SKY COUNTRY, and also "home of the Uni-Bomber!!" (There, I beat you to it!!) LOL
My interests are varied. I love to read, enjoy crocheting, knitting, and sewing...also painting and making porcelain dolls........not to mention the internet!!
I enjoy a nice walk, and time spent with my family and friends. My grandchildren are the center of my life, and I love them more than I ever imagined possible. I enjoy watching my Yorkies at play, and love cuddling them, and getting 'Yorkie Kisses'! Camping with my husband and dogs is at the top of my list of fun things to do. Basically we live a very simple, comfortable life......for which I am thankful.

I come from a broken home, and have 1 full sister, 2 half sisters, and 4 half brothers. I am the 'baby' of the bunch. We had an extremely abusive father, and I have to say that the best thing my mother ever did for me was to divorce him (my Dad) when I was 7. She remarried when I was 8, and I am so thankful for the time I had with a step-father Gail, who was good to me (and my Mom), and whom I never doubted loved me. We had lots of fights, but I always knew beyond any shadow of a doubt that he would still love me.
I am a porcelain doll maker, and I give porcelain doll making classes; having 15 students as of now. I give 2 classes a week, and that's more than enough! I don't know why my hobbies always turn into jobs!

Our Son, Thad
Thad and Mary have been married for 3 years now, and are a blended family. Warren (Thad's son) and Julie (Mary's daughter) are only 9 months apart in age. It gets very interesting at times! LOL The kids are great though, and Thad and Mary are wonderful parents. Thad is a journeyman electrician, and works for my husband,Terry. Mary is a stay at home mommie, and takes in day-care children to help supplement their income.

Our Daughter, Kris
Kris and Jim have been married for 12 years. Jim is the Asst. Manager at Albertson's, and Kris works for an accountant. Kris is able to work from her home when the kids are home, and goes to the office when they are in school. They too are wonderful parents, and I adore all four of our grandchildren. I always say that Grandchildren are our rewards for getting old!

The most important person in my life is the Lord Jesus Christ. He gives me the strength to live each day of my life....He gives me the very breath I breathe....He gave me eternal life..... He gave His life, so that I might have life.......and have it abundantly! I love Him, and my very deepest heart's desire is to serve Him and to please Him...and to be a good testimony to those around me of His saving grace..... I fail miserably every day of my life, but that is still my heart's desire. I don't want to begin preaching however.....I just want to share with you what is most important in my life.

We have two Yorkshire Terriers (my furbabies) that I adore. (One is Scooter, who is 1 1/2 years old, weighs 11.75 lbs, and has floppy ears! The other is Sassy, who is 6 mos old, weighs 4.1 lb and is adorable......and very naughty!) They are such sweet and loving pets! Yorkies are just like little people.....however THEY think they are rotweillers! They aren't afraid of anything! You have to constantly be on the lookout, because they would attack a bear if given a chance....and end up getting hurt themselves.

The reason I am doing this site is for the challenge of doing it... (Thanks Carolyn for all the help!!); Also to share some original poetry written by my daughter, Kris; my daughter-in-law, Mary; my sister, Darlene (who is an abuse survivor); and myself: To show you some of the porcelain dolls that I make and sell; And to show you some of my original paintings. I will even throw in a few of our old, old family pictures. They are so fun to look at! (At least for me!!)

I must take the opportunity now to thank Carolyn for
helping me with this site .... "Thanks Carolyn for the hours....literally....you
spent in helping me to learn how to do this!! It was a LOT of fun!! You are very
special!"
Obviously this site is under construction. Because I will be coming in on occasion and changing pictures, etc., it will probably NEVER be DONE!
Please bear with me!!
