We prayed for a perfect little girl,
A girl to complete the nest.
God was faithful and along came Mandy,
and she sure does pass the test!
Feathery blonde hair -- or is it red?--
And a dimple in her chin,
Long delicate fiingers -- perhaps for the piano? --
She's just as cute as a pin!
We pray for yoou Mandy, a life that is pure,
A life of serving the Lord.
His love can keep you strong and true,
And that's a great reward!
